I liked it.
The only weak part for me, was in lab class, the arguing couple having a fight in front of Juno & Bleeker. That was dumb. The rest of it I think was pretty good.
( It has been pointed out, that for all of Juno's love of Iggy Pop sure doesn't show in her singing with Bleeker, or in the movie soundtrack.)

So, what would I do if Miss Squeaky was preggers, or Mr. Grunty got someone preggers in High School?
Posted by joncim at June 21, 2008 03:45 PMWeak part: Not getting the father's permission before giving up the baby for adoption - at least, there was no mention of that.
And just a criticism - I had to cringe when Juno said to the adoptive mother "at least you don't have to be pregnant" or some such thing. Not a thing that someone with infertility wants to hear.
Posted by: Heather at June 23, 2008 01:05 PMI think that was the point of her saying that, so the audience could see the adoptive mother's reaction.
I know that if any of my kids, mostly the girls, came home pregers, I would do everything in my power to keep their lives on track. I would make sure they finish school and have the education that they need and not make the mistake that I did by leaving college and picking it up 11 years later.
